Joe presents some of the most entertaining, yet practical teaching on the family available today. His laugh-and-learn approach removes every barrier and provides listeners with a new hope for stronger families and a deeper commitment to obey the Word of God in their lives.
The front door to each school will be open for families and friends to walk the halls and pray for our students, teachers, and school leaders for the upcoming school year. Please feel free to anoint the doorways with oil, to pray over the playgrounds and the parking lots and all school property. You may also want to walk around the administration building and the bus barn, though they will not be open.
We have been asked not to disturb any teachers who may be working in their rooms that day, unless they invite you to come in.
Join us Sunday May 6th with special guest Ken Freeman at the 9 and 11am service. Ken will also be speaking at a mens event in the fellowship hall that eventing at 6pm.
The son of an alcoholic mother and an absentee father, Ken’s life was filled with abuse and neglect. Often times he and his sister would be left for days while his mother satisfied her addiction to alcohol and possible other drugs. Other times she’d leave them with a boyfriend who would physically and sexually abuse them. There were times he thought about suicide. Other times he thought about murder. His life seemed out of control. Ken spent his life running, trying to survive. He was bitter, hurt, and alone.
Despite a horrifying childhood, Ken defied all odds with one choice that would change his life forever, his decision to accept Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior. With that one choice Ken’s years of mental and physical abuse turned from a useless mess, to a powerful message.
God has blessed Ken as he has been in the ministry for over 30 years, serving as a youth leader for about 12 years, and an evangelist for well over 25 years. He has seen over 200,000 decisions for Christ, one of which was his own father, been in over 3000 churches, written two books, and built a ministry around this one choice to accept Christ.

Dean Hawk is the Lead Pastor of Rock Family Church in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He began his ministry career in 1981 and has been married to his wife, Kim, since 1983. One word that describes Dean is creative. His goal is to make the Bible come alive through his creative communication style and ignite people in their walk with God like never before. After 23 years in youth ministry Dean and Kim planted RFC in 2004. Today it is a church with two campuses that reaches over 1500 people every weekend. Dean is also Pastor Craig’s best friend . . . well actually . . . his only friend other than Sandy. :-)
At the "Core" or heart of our church, are the men and women who volunteer and minister to others. Thank you is inadequate to convey Pastor Craig and my gratitude for everything that you do on a weekly basis. My heart is to better equip and prepare you for helping others.
Starting this January, we will begin meeting every 4-6 weeks on a Wednesday night. The first meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, January 31st. A meal will be provided free of charge at 5:30 pm. Pick up your plate at the coffee bar and proceed to the Fellowship Hall. The kid's area will have pizza and childcare for 1 year olds through 6th grade. My heart is to impart wisdom, vision and leadership principles during these 30 minute sessions. Taking into consideration the time to get everyone in the fellowship hall and fed the meeting will conclude at 6:15 pm. This will enable those of you who volunteer on Wednesdays adequate time to get to your area of responsibility.
